“The Naked Cowboy” sues M&M

A man who wears a cowboy hat, boots, and underwear in the middle of Time Square is suing Mars Inc (maker of M&M candy) for “stealing his image” and using it in a commercial.

Honestly, I don’t think that M&M image represents the “Naked Cowboy.” Just another frivolous lawsuit against corporate America. Failure.

Bus Driver (and her daugther!) vs. Student

Spoiled kids these days. I’m glad that daughter told her to step off her mom. Although both parties were pretty wrong IMO, it’s still funny.

Advise… watch the first minute or so then fast-forward to 7:30.

Microsoft Offers to Buy Yahoo! for $44.6 Billion

Microsoft & YahooIn a letter sent to the Yahoo! board of directors, it is said that Microsoft has offered to purchase the web search giant for a cool $44.6 Billion in cash and shares. The offering is worth 60%+ of the total value of Yahoo!’s shares at current time.

Many would speculate this move by Microsoft as a haphazard and risky attempt to power up against internet hyper-power Google. Should Yahoo! be merged into the Microsoft empire, the company driving Windows will have a large market share of the internet search business.

“World’s Thinnest Notebook”: Macbook Air

Macbook Air

Apple has released the newest member of its product family, the Macook Air. Hyped as the “world’s thinnest notebook” the Macbook Air comes in at about 3/4 of an inch with the screen shut. To read more information about this new product, visit the Macbook Air website.

Many of Apple’s loyal customers are saying that it is another example of Apple’s continued success in innovation (in this case “thinnovation” as Apple calls it). However, many consumers feel that Apple is moving away from what real notebook users need which is a more durable machine for traveling. What do you think of the newest Macbook?
